Growing up, I used to always make toll house chocolate chip cookies.
But when my mom got hoshimotos, that was no longer an option. But I knew there had to be an alternative. So I set out, searching for a great chocolate chip cookie.

Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies (adapted from this recipe)
gluten & dairy free
4 cups almond flour
1 cup coconut sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp earth balance
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp coconut milk (or other dairy free milk)
1 cup dairy free chocolate chips (I used ghirardelli)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer.
3. Form balls with dough and smash down with hand. Pop them in the oven for 10 minutes.
